Class/Sport Information

  • Enhances co-ordination and agility, for body awareness and balance
  • Enhances creativity and builds self-confidence, for sport and life

WG (Women's) Level 1-10:

Women's Artistic Gymnastics teaches co-ordination and confidence, develops creativity and contributes to general health and fitness. Level 1 is the commencement of competitive stream.


Introductory MG Level (Men’s) 1-3:

Mens Gymnastics is the perfect sport to teach co-ordination and confidence, develop strength and control and contribute to general health and fitness. Mens apparatus include: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar. This class leads to a competitive stream.

 

Recreational:

Recreational gymnastics is for everybody, regardless of age, gender or ability. It is the perfect activity to prepare for long-term participation in sport and develops vital life skills. 

 

Recreational Classes:

  • Are lots of fun and a great introduction to Gymnastics
  • Develop balance, co-ordination and confident body movement
  • Builds self-esteem, strength and flexibility, preparing the body & mind for life's challenges

  • Are conducted within a safe environment which caters for personal growth and development

Kinder Gym:

A kinder class for children aged 18 months – 6 years aided by parents, grandparents or guardians. This parent assisted class works on developing motor skills, strength, coordination and balance in a safe and fun environment. Gym Dance utilises the Gymnastics equipment and dance space / music.

 


 

Sport Aerobics

A performance sport originating from traditional group exercise classes. Athletes showcaseDSC_0791.JPG - large choreography in combination with technical skills of varying difficulty. The routine demonstrates components of fitness, including cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, balance, co-ordination, agility, speed and power through continuous movement patterns.

Dance

Funk – Hip Hop

DSC_0772.JPG - largeA modern performance sport originating from the traditional dance class. Athletes showcase energy and excitement, the music is fast, the attitude is funky and the moves are fun. Both competitive and non-competitive classes available

 

Kinder Dance

A Fun basic class for little ones to help develop motor skills, co-ordination, confidence and social skills. The children learn basic skills to assist with all elements of dance as well as many fun dance routines.

 

Junior Dance

Dance classes that have dance and aerobic elements, which encourage movement, flexibility, balance and fun. Children learn a wide variety of skills and are challenged with routines that encompass many styles of Thesedance (Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Contemporary etc). These classes are divided into groups in accordance to age and ability.
